YGK X-Braid Ohdragon F1 x4 SS1.40 Sinking PE Braid Fishing Line YGK is one of the best braided line makers in Japan. We absolutely love this line and use it exclusively on our spinning reels to improve our success in both fun fishing and bass tournaments. Sinking braid used on spinning reels provides extraordinary advantages over traditional braid: Improved Sensitivity : The sinking nature of braid removes the bow in your line. This improves sensitivity and contact with your lure. More Natural Presentation : With less bow and less line floating on the surface, your lure will fall straight verses at a curve away from the intended target. This is critical for presentations such as stick worms and jigs. Quicker and Improved Hooking Rates : You will experience greater hook up ratios with no stretch and less bow in your line...especially important in dropshotting. Efficient Fishing in Windy Conditions : Because sinking braid has a higher specific gravity, you will incur less wind knots and longer, more precise casts. Now onto the line itself... YGK X-Braid Ohdragon F1 x4 braid is constructed by assembling ultra-high-strength PE with a special micro-fluorine core (fluorocarbon) at high density using their advanced WX construction method. The WX construction method is one in which the twist direction of the raw threads and fibers of the 4 stands is symmetrical. The result is high binding strength and abrasion resistance without significantly reducing linear strength compared to 100% braided line. Both braids are in multiple colors allowing for increased visibility of subtle strikes. Many consider the YGK Sinking Braid to be the best sinking braid on the market.
