The parts are all solid steel and brass. and it works perfectly. There is another brand xxx, that makes the same basic thing but they sell a powder coated metal stand for it for a lot of money. I just screwed it to the side of my workbench and BANG your done. I just saved $150. Yep I could have sourced the parts for less elsewhere, but time is money. it took me 30 seconds to get set up and spool a reel. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
